Taking place during the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly, the Africa Open for Business Summit 2026 will bring together leaders from government, the United Nations, the African Union, the private sector, financial institutions, academia, civil society, and the global African diaspora to mobilize partnerships and investment for Africa's economic transformation. With the world's youngest population and some of its fastest-growing markets, Africa offers significant opportunities for inclusive growth, innovation, and shared prosperity. The Summit will highlight practical pathways to expand trade and entrepreneurship, advance women's and youth leadership, and accelerate implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and Agenda 2063 — while building momentum for the Youth Olympic Games Dakar 2026, the first Olympic event ever held on African soil.
